The Jury comprised of auto engineers and motoring experts will visit showrooms for a short test drive and objectively evaluate using a detailed rating form, comprising 21 separate evaluation parameters that include ergonomics, braking, vehicle dynamics, functionality, design, features and safety where applicable.
The process would be filmed as JURY get to sit in the nominated vehicles. At least a quick documentary lasting one to two minutes would be run on each vehicle and shown on TV3/VIASAT four times before the Awards
The International research firm NIELSEN will do a perception research on this vehicles. The Jury scores is weighted as 60 percent and Nielsen perception report is rated as 40 percent . Both scores are tabulated by the Event Statistician Nielsen to get results.
The results are kept confidential until the awards press-conferences where the finalist are announced. As soon as the finalist are declared, the comparative test data, and vote results are posted to the Ghana Auto Awards web site for use by consumers as a resource buying guide.
